The Ropa Valley: it lies on a plain of around 2500 acres towards the north of the Mesis region. The Ropa River waters its rich soil which was once a lake and then it was drained. There is no any agriculture, and some places have been developed for tourism. There is a golf course and horse riding. There is a lake close by to the east. The valley has become a significant wetlands habitat, where many birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish live.
