Angelokastro: is a Byzantine fortress built on a rock at 160 m. above sea level. You can reach it by a narrow passage. The fortress was built in the 13th century. In 1537 there was a raid from the Turks, which forced almost 3000 people from the nearby villages to take refuge in the fortress.A little church of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel and a chapel of Agia Kyriaki in a cave are 2 spots that you can also visit. The Angelocastro has an unbelievable view.
